FTP Instructions
FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is an easy and preferred way to transfer large electronic files across the Internet. Before placing files on any of the Repro Center FTP sites please email epub@reprocenter.com or fax (216) 738-3801.

* Please note: Anonymous uploads are not available. Please contact your Customer Service Representative to set up your free private FTP site.

If using an FTP client such as CuteFTP or WS FTP please see the documentation that came with the application. Most FTP programs will require the same information...

Host Name - ftp.reprocenter.com
OR
Host IP Address - 67.98.23.195
Initial Remote Directory - /incoming/
User ID - (Please use the username supplied by your Repro Center
Customer Service Representative)
Password - (Please use the password supplied by your Repro Center
Customer Service Representative)
Host Type - autodetect or Windows NT
Transfer Mode - autodetect or binary
Port - 21

If using the FTP client included with Microsoft Windows 95/98/NT

1. Connect to the Internet
2. Open a MS-DOS prompt (click the Start button, choose Run..., type command)
3. Navigate to the directory where the files you want to upload reside.
(type cd .. to move up a directory or cd path_name (replace "path_name" with the
name of the directory) to move down a directory. To view the contents of the directory
type dir .
4. Once you are in the correct directory on your computer type ftp
5. type open ftp.reprocenter.com
6. At the prompt for a user name type your supplied username
7. At the prompt for a password type your supplied password
8. type binary
9. If you are sending more than one file please create a new folder by typing;
mkdir name_of_folder
and then switch to the folder by typing; cd name_of_folder
(replace "name_of_folder" with the name of your company or project)
9. To upload a files you can use a couple of commands depending on how many files you are sending. To send multiple files use; mput *.*
To send a single file use; send file_name.* (replace "file_name" with the name of your file)

When you are finished type bye to close the connection
