Creating PostScript Files for
Printing
To make a PostScript file, you must have a PostScript printer installed.
If you do not have a PostScript printer driver available, see reverse
for instructions.
1. Open the document you want to create a PostScript file from. Click
on File
and select Print.
2. When the Print dialogue box appears on your screen select a PostScript
print driver.
3. Click the print Properties button and choose paper size and orientation
and click OK.
4. Click on Print to File (If you installed the Linotronic 330 print
driver as instructed
on the back of this page, skip this step.)
5. Make sure you include/download ALL fonts. You will find this option
if printing a file created in Pagemaker or Quark Xpress.
6. Click on OK in the Print dialogue box.
7. You are instructing the software to create a PostScript file from
your document. In the Print to File dialogue box give the file a name
and end it with .PRN
8. Finally, choose a location to save your file and click OK.
